🧐 Why your thoughts on sales is holding you back

I thought sales would be too hard and too much too

Do you have the control to dictate how much money you make each month?

Probably not. Although, more and more people are trying to take control of their finances by becoming entrepreneurs or adding side hustles to their schedules. But, most people are paid their hourly wage. Minimum wage here in California is $15.50
Which is laughable considering the median rent is $2,895 according to Zillow’s rental manager.

But what if I told you there is a way to control your income stream. If you wanted to make an extra couple hundred or even thousands this pay period, you can.

SALES!

So many people (my old-self included) think sales or being in sales is too hard, or just “not your thing”. I get it, why do I need to convince someone to buy this item?

But let me tell you, sales training in general is GOLD. Let’s say it isn’t even for more money, but the knowledge obtained from it. This opens so many doors you wouldn’t even consider before.

Let’s say you aren’t ready to start your own business yet. Join a sales team with a great training program! You will learn how to sell, how to shift your mindset, and how to MAKE MONEY. All of these skills are transferrable to your next chapter in life.

I asked a solar manager how much his guys’ make hourly - $15.50. Then I asked how much they take home. He said no one makes less than $7,000 a month, and that’s on the low end! Their commission ALWAYS surpasses their hourly wage.

And the wealthy know this. If you’ve read Rich Dad, Poor Dad, you know Robert Kiyosaki took a job as a salesman for Xerox to learn how sell, (communicate, influence) NOT for the money. One man literally told him he was the worst salesman he’s seen yet. But, as he improved his sales skills, his income improved as well. He then took that training with him as he began building his own companies.

My point is, stop letting your thoughts (or the thoughts of others) hold you back from your truest potential. Trying something new may just be the best thing you’ve ever done. 😉

This week, let me know 1 thing you did that took you out of your comfort zone. You can leave a comment, email me, or message me. I want to hear all the amazingness that is you!
