Think You're Too Young to Plan for Retirement? 👵🧓👴

Think again…

Who do you know around you that should be retired but can’t afford to stop working? Do you plan on working until your body just can’t anymore?

As I’ve expanded my portfolio of work, I’ve begun working with more & more seniors assisting them specifically with their Medicare needs.

Many of them are on a fixed income. More than half of my clients depend solely on their social security checks, which are never more than $1600/month.

Then to top it off, Medicare (something we contribute to all our working lives, check your paystub if you don’t believe me) is ALSO withdrawn from their social security checks every month.

The unfortunate thing is, that most people aren’t taught how important planning for retirement is… in our 20s, we want to live our best lives. In our 30s, we’re busy building our careers or starting families. By our 40s, the time has been flying so fast, we’re probably playing catch-up, and by 50, we’ll need to double the investment to make up for the lost time.

Retirement planning doesn’t have to be expensive either. Of course, putting your money in a vehicle that will GROW your money over time is key. And there isn’t just 1 way to do this either.

For example, my job offers a 401k plus a match… Of course, I’ll take that! I also purchase dividend-paying stocks and tax liens for additional passive income. I’m working on adding additional passive income through real estate rental properties. And, a few cash-value life insurance policies.

Social media does a great job of throwing out all the information we think we need, but then doesn’t go into greater detail. And, planning for retirement can be tricky!

What would life look like for you in 20, 30, or 40 years if you continue doing the same thing you’re doing now….? Can you confidently say you’ll be financially stable to sustain your lifestyle?

If your answer is no…
