5 Books That Will Make You More Money than your Degree

Bold statement. I know. But, you and I both know the world is changing rapidly. And the economy today… is scary. The other day, I walked into Taco Bell and there were no cashiers. Orders were only being taken using a computer screen. Same goes for many tech jobs that are being replaced with Artificial Intelligence. Heck, even I use AI to get some things done faster and remain organized.

Fact of the matter is, if you aren’t considering different ways to generate income, you WILL get left behind.

According to Robert Kiyosaki in his book, Second Chance, there are 2 types of rich people: those that have high paying jobs (such as doctors, lawyers, athletes, etc) and those that have assets that pay them income. If you’re subscribed to this newsletter… I HOPE you are aspiring to be the latter. Why? Well, let me ask you this…

Do you plan on working until you’re 65? 80? Mortality tables tell us that most people are living to be around 80 years old… Yet most people just can’t afford to live that long.

Don’t get me wrong, having an education is great. I went and got a BA and still find value in it… But I don’t have a job that is tied to it and I don’t really plan on it either. What do the wealthy think? That knowledge is the true gateway to wealth, giving each and every one of us the chance to become wealthy too. However, they also know, most people won’t do anything with this knowledge… Except you, right? 😉

So, here are 5 books I recommend to truly gain the knowledge you need to reach WEALTH. The kind of wealth far beyond the kind your degree can provide. And no, it won’t happen overnight. And yes, it does require you to actually DO the work.

  1. Secrets of the Millionaire Mind by T Harv Eker

  2. Rich Dad, Poor Dad by Robert Kiyosaki

  3. Second Chance by Robert Kiyosaki

  4. Becoming Your Own Banker by R Nelson Nash

  5. Mapping out the Millionaire Mystery by Brent Kessler, Chris Naugle

Yes, I have read each of these books… More than once. And I can probably recommend more than these 5, but, these are the 5 I believe are essential and this order will help you as well. It will first adjust your mindset to even accept becoming wealthy. And then, slowly introduce gems that you can implement or ask questions about (my inbox is always open - just hit reply!)

While I’m not a millionaire today, I can confidently say I am well on my way. And I hope to see you at the top with me.

Until next time,
